To replace the crankshaft rear oil seal, first of all, dismantle the transmission and then the Flywheel and be very careful with the external diameter of the crankshaft or chamber so as not to damage it with any tool. Next, use a flat bladed tool to pry out the crankshaft rear oil seal. To install, use rear main seal installer (J 42067) to install new seal. Then reinstall the Flywheel tightening the Flywheel bolts an additional 53 nm (39 ft. Lbs.) and a further 25 degrees and, lastly, reinstall the transmission.
