  A: To service and repair the Valve Stem Oil Seal, and to repair valve stem oil and valve spring, one must remove the Camshaft and the cam relay followers. Next, install the valve spring compressor (J 43649) to the cylinder head and also remove the spark plugs. Mount an air hose adapter into the Spark Plug hole and pressurize the cylinder to 690 kpa (100 psi). Compress valve spring and then take out valve spring keepers and valve spring. Destroy the valve seal using the Valve Stem Oil Seal remover (J 36017). For installation: valve expert use Valve Stem Oil Seal remover (J 36017) to install new valve seal; then later valve spring installed and compressing again. Install the valve spring keepers and remove the air hose adapter from the Spark Plug hole, as well as be removing the valve spring compressor (J 43649) from the cylinder head. Lastly, re-fit spark plugs, cam roller followers, and the Camshaft.
