Press the stop lamp switch into the retainer until its plunger fully enters the switch barrel by about 2-3 pounds of pressure to stop the Brake Pedal bracket from misaligning the switch. Move the stop lamp switch until it reaches the travel stop then push a thickness gauge between the switch barrel and Brake Pedal bracket for 0.0 and 2.0 mm (0.0 - 0.78 inches).
