    A: The process of replacing the hazard warning switch begins by removing the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad subsequently followed by removal of the air distribution duct then the center air outlet from the IP upper trim pad. Release the tabs from the rear of the air outlet then you can pull to detach the hazard warning switch which will set the button free. Insert the hazard warning switch through the center air outlet opening by applying direct pressure to the back of the outlet. The installation process requires you to replace the air distribution duct and the center air outlet onto the IP upper trim pad after which you must secure the hazard warning switch button by alignment and force. Switch the control to off before replacing the IP upper trim pad.
