2004 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The first step to switch a multifunction turn signal is to take both upper and lower Steering Column trims off. Disconnect the wire harness straps from both parts of the Steering Column tilt head assembly and column before taking out the wire harness assembly. Loosen and remove the two tapping screws from the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly. Put the electrical connector onto the turn signal cancel cam before setting the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly into the Steering Column assembly. Use 2 handheld tapping screws and tighten them to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). Set the wire harness assembly alongside the column jacket before fitting it into the wire harness strap. Secure the Steering Column assembly and column with new wire harness straps. Put back the upper and lower Steering Column trim covers last.
