2004 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the washer reservoir on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: You first need to open the hood and drain out the washer solvent from the container. First, unplug the washer solvent container level sensor from the main wires and take out its nuts. Then, take out the heater hose clamp and the washer solvent container to get to the Washer Pump under the hood. After disconnecting the Washer Pump electrical cord and hose, take the container out of the car. Put the washer solvent container back into the vehicle and attach the hose and electrical connector to the Washer Pump. Then, install the container on the mounting studs. Secure the container by putting in the nuts and tightening them to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Finally, add fluid to the washer solvent container, attach the washer solvent container level sensor and let it seal, close the hood and confirm that the washer system is working correctly.
