How to replace the wiper arm on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin your work by opening the hood while putting the Ignition Switch to accy and positioning the Wiper Switch to delay. Set the ignition back to off after the wipers reach their inner-wipe rest position. Stick masking tape to the windshield tower each Wiper Blade's tip to make reinstallation easier. After taking off the washer hose from the air inlet grille panel unscrew the Wiper Arm cover and Wiper Arm nut. The Wiper Arm puller tool j 39822 allows you to disconnect the wiper transmission and Wiper Arm joint. You can then remove the Wiper Blade from the Wiper Arm. Place the Wiper Blade onto the Wiper Arm so its tip matches the masking tape marks made on the windshield during the wiper replacement. Put the wiper transmission Wiper Arm in place before locking it with the Wiper Arm nut at 25 n.m tightness. After that attach the Wiper Arm nut cover and rejoin the washer hose to the air inlet grille panel. Close up the wiper transmission and remove the masking tape from the windshield to test if the wipers work properly.
