In order to remove engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor, one has to turn off the ignition and lift the car. Open the cooling system, and then decrease the vehicle. Unhook the ECT sensor, dismount it, and make sure that the replacement parts are accurate. Apply the sensor threads with sealer and fit, tighten, reconnect and refill the coolant.
