In order to change the outer tie rod end, lifting the vehicle and removing the tire is required. Take out the outer tie rod retaining nut without unscrewing the steering linkage. Disconnect the outer tie rod with the help of a puller, and examine and clean the parts. Grease the threads, fit the new tie rod and set the front toe.
