You need to remove both the shock absorber and the height sensor link from the lower Control Arm. Use the j 41820 Ball Joint (J 41820) to separate the Ball Joint from the knuckle before removing the lower Ball Joint nut. A utility stand will help you lower the Control Arm to release the coil spring tension before you remove both coil spring and jounce bumper carefully. Follow these installation steps after removing the lower Control Arm: attach the spring jounce bumper to the spring then position the spring insulator before installing the spring seat along with jounce bumper to the lower Control Arm .
