The sequence begins by removing the bat terminal nut together with its electrical wiring then moving on to the s terminal nut after removing its electrical lead. The service of pg260 f1 Starter motor begins with removing the torque converter cover then Starter motor bolts so the Starter motor can be extracted. When installing start the process by positioning the Starter motor and fasten it down with Starter motor bolts which need to be tightened to 47 n.m (35 lb ft). First reinstall the torque converter cover followed by connecting the Starter motor s terminal electrical lead and tightening its corresponding electrical nut to 3 n.m (27 lb in). After that, connect the Starter motor bat terminal and fasten its solenoid bat terminal nut to 10 n.m torque (89 lb in). After reinstalling the radiator air baffle assembly the vehicle should be lowered while connecting the battery ground (negative) cable to the battery.
