  A: To change the throttle cable, first remove the throttle cable from the throttle body lever and the throttle cable bracket. Disconnect the left instrument panel sound insulator to remove it from the vehicle then the throttle cable on the accelerator pedal for it to pass through the bulkhead and pull it out as well noting the cable routing for installation. When replacing the new throttle cable, make sure it travels along the route observed during removal, and connect via the slot on the accelerator pedal lever and seating the snap retainer on the pedal lever. Then attach the throttle cable to the throttle body lever and the throttle cable bracket. After installing, check for complete throttle opening and closing positions when moving the accelerator pedal and ensure proper fit of carpet under the pedal before installing the left instrument panel sound insulator.
