Extract the side impact sensor from its mounting position within the door frame. Clear the mounting surface from all contaminants before placing the side impact sensor flat against the door and joining its electrical connection. Use 9 N.m (79 lb in) of torque to install screws that will attach the side impact sensor to the door.
