How to replace the front crankshaft seal on 2004 GMC Envoy?

Before changing the front Crankshaft oil seal one must first remove the Crankshaft balancer but handle the engine front cover and Crankshaft with caution. A suitable tool should be used to pry out the Crankshaft front oil seal before discarding it. Engine oil should be applied to the outside diameter of the new Crankshaft front oil seal before its installation. The front seal installer (J 45951) should be used to position the new seal but it needs to be removed before reinstalling the Crankshaft balancer.
