2004 GMC Safari Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the auxiliary heat blower control switches on 2004 GMC Safari?
A: You can start working when you have the parking brake engaged and turn the key to on then switch to position 1. Push the steering wheel all the way down and gently pull back the instrument panel trim plate from its ends until its retainers release. Position the instrument panel cluster trim plate facing down and detach the auxiliary heat blower motor switch at its side-released tabs. Put the side tabs of the new auxiliary heat blower motor switch into the instrument panel cluster trim plate during installation. Push the instrument panel cluster trim plate into the instrument panel opening until its retainers sit in place. End by slotting the gear selector into park, grabbing the shutdown knob and pushing the park brake.
