    To replace the HVAC control assembly, remove the IP cluster trim plate and the retaining screw to remove from the left edge of the HVAC control assembly. Turn the HVAC control assembly using the IP and extract the same to gain access to vacuum and electrical connectors. If the electric connectors do not sever the HVAC controller, remove the electric connectors. For installation, connect the vacuum connectors, electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly, aligned the tab of the assembly inside the slot in the IP and install the HVAC control assembly. Screw the screw to the HVAC control assembly and set it to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Finally, install the IP Cluster trim plate.

    Set the parking brake and turn the ignition key to on position. Also move the gear selector to 1st gear before starting the switch replacement. Press the tilt steering control all the way down when it has a lower position setting. Pull the edges of the instrument panel cluster trim plate while grasping it. Then remove the plate when its retainers release from the instrument panel. Press both sides of the auxiliary a/c blower motor switch out from its position in the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Fit the tabs on the sides of the new auxiliary a/c blower motor switch into the instrument panel cluster retaining plate. Push the instrument panel cluster trim plate into the panel opening to seat its retainers. Turn the gear selector to park and switch the ignition to off then release the brake.

    Begin replacement of the HVAC control assembly by detaching the retaining screw and IP cluster trim plate from the left edge of the assembly. Pull out the HVAC control assembly from its seat within the IP before removing it to access electrical and vacuum connectors. The HVAC control assembly requires detachment of vacuum along with electrical connectors. When installing the HVAC control assembly users must link vacuum and electrical connectors but must also position the tab of the assembly into the IP slot for proper placement. Secure this assembly by installing a screw then tightening it to 2 N.m (18 lb in) followed by placing the IP cluster trim plate back in place.

    To change the auxiliary a/c blower motor switch you should engage the parking brake and turn the ignition key to the on position. Also select 1st gear while keeping the gear selector position. Push the steering wheel to its lowest tilt position afterward use both hands to pull out the instrument panel trim plate from behind. Press on the tabs at both ends of the switch to take it out from its subject on the instrument panel cluster trim plate. To install the new auxiliary a/c blower motor switch locate its side tabs into slots of the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Fit the instrument panel cluster trim plate into its opening by pushing it forward when its backside molds align with the panel. Position the gear shifter to park, switch off the ignition and let go of the brake release.

    Apply the emergency brake then set the ignition to on and move the gear selector to 1st gear to replace the auxiliary heat blower motor switch . Position the tilt steering wheel at its lowest point as available. Pull the instrument panel cluster trim plate from all sides carefully to free the retainers from their slots in the panel. To access the switch you need to prise open its retaining tabs on both sides of each unit. You need to insert the tabs from both ends of the new auxiliary heat blower motor switch into the instrument panel cluster trim plate . Press the instrument panel cluster trim plate into position through its retainers until the whole item locks into the panel opening. End by placing the gear selector in park then switch off the ignition and let go of the park brake.
