How to replace the starter motor on 2004 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to remove the starter motor, one has to disconnect the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Take out the required bolts and disconnect oil level sensor. Move the starter forward, and disassemble the solenoid nut and leads and set the starter on a workbench. Install the parts in the reverse sequence and re-attach the battery.
