How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor located at the left rear on 2004 GMC Sonoma?

The first step for transferring the left rear speed sensor of the transfer case requires the vehicle to be elevated. First disconnect the electrical connector from the transfer case left rear speed sensor followed by sensor removal. When installing the transfer case left rear speed sensor it must go inside the transfer case before tightening it to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). Lower the vehicle after reconnecting the sensor electrical connector.
