The procedure to replace the generator bracket starts with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable from the battery and removing the generator bracket bolts and the generator. Finally, remove the generator bracket. When installing the bracket start by mounting it onto the engine and initially tighten generator bracket bolts to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) but do so after reading the fastener notice in service precautions. Reinstall the generator followed by connection of the negative Battery Cable to its battery terminal.
