How to replace the rear car speakers on 2005 Buick Century?

The installation for a rear speaker replacement starts with removing both rear window trim panel and rear seat sound barrier. Forward pressure on the rear retainer followed by lifting the speaker outwards from the rear shelf completes the removal process. First disconnect the electrical connector from the rear speaker then take out the speaker from the rear shelf. Keep the new rear speaker on the rear shelf before connecting its electrical connector. Push down on the rear speaker while aligning its forward tabs into the slots to lock the holder tabs. Putting the rear seat sound barrier and the rear window trim panel should be the last step of replacement.
