How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) on 2005 Buick Century?

To replace the Knock Sensor (KS), loosen and raise up the vehicle. Unplug the knock sensor electrical connector and take out the knock sensor from the engine block. For installation, install the knock sensor with no thread sealant applied to the sensor threads since they are factory-coated and applying more will cause the sensor not to detect detonation as intended. tighten the sensor to 19 N.m (14 lb ft. Lastly, complete joining of the knock sensor electrical connector and lessening of the vehicle.
