How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor (24X) on 2005 Buick Century?

To replace the Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (24X), first lift and support the vehicle, lower air deflector and (CKP) crankshaft balancer. Remove the CKP sensor harness from place, remembering the routing path of the harness prior to removal. Pull out the harness retaining bolt and clip to take out the CKP sensor bolts and CKP sensor. For installation place the 24X crankshaft position sensor onto the front cover and fix it using the CKP Sensor Bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb. in). Following this, install the sensor harness retaining clip and bolt , and tighten bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector, connect the CKP sensor harness to the bracket and reinstall the crankshaft balancer and lower air deflector. Finally, release the vehicle and run crankshaft position (CKP) system variation learn.
