The first step to replace the rear suspension Sway Bar Link involves lifting and supporting the vehicle. Disengage the Sway Bar Link nut at both ends between the Sway Bar Link and sway bar and between the Sway Bar Link and strut. First operate on the Sway Bar Link while it is outside the vehicle. Start the installation process by placing the Sway Bar Link to the vehicle structure before connecting it to the sway bar. Fasten the Sway Bar Link nut to both Sway Bar Link and sway bar components before tightening it to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Connect the Sway Bar Link to the strut and install the Sway Bar Link nut to both components while tightening it to 52 nm (38 ft. Lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
