A technician should begin with removing the left IP trim plate before disconnecting electrical connectors (2 and 3). The headlamp switch must be detached from the left IP trim plate by first taking out the fastener then tilting the switch to detach it. Secure the headlamp switch onto the IP trim plate by using the fastener while tightening it to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Plug in the electrical connectors (2, 3) before returning the IP trim plate into place.
