How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

In order to change the turn signal switch, switch off the SIR system and remove the trim covers. Unattach the wire harness assembly and loosen the connector of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. Take the assembly off the tilt head of the steering column. Install the new assembly and make sure the connections are correct and the trim covers are reattached.
