How to replace the rear brake disc on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

Begin the replacement by taking off both wheel and tire from their set-up. Use heavy mechanic's wire or an equivalent support tool under the brake caliper whenever it is detached from its mount when the hydraulic hose is still connected. This protects the brake hose from damage and prevents brake fluid leakage. Take the brake caliper and bracket off the vehicle keeping the caliper assembly out of the way from the Brake Disc then take out the Brake Disc. Remove all dirt and rust from both the wheel bearing flange and Brake Disc contact areas to stop brake pulsation problems during installation of a new disc. To clean the Wheel Hub surface use the Wheel Hub resurfacing kit part number j 42450-a. After placing the new Brake Disc on top of wheel studs onto the wheel bearing flange you can add the brake caliper set with the bracket. Finish the process by putting the tire and wheel assembly back on.
