2005 Buick Park Avenue Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the cabin air filter on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?
A: Starting with removal of the left sound insulator panel, proceed to take off the filter access cover through pushing down and pulling it out. Start by pulling out the first filter after removing its tape then proceed with removing tape from the second filter to similarly.extract it with a filter tab. Reinstall this procedure to the third filter. New filters need lubrication from spray silicon to make installation easier while maintenance staff should keep filters straight during the process. Start with the first filter into the HVAC module assembly while using either the tab or a long screwdriver to lift it until the leading edge catches onto an inside holding rib. The second filter needs to be placed into the tab of the first filter until it reaches all channels properly. Raise the filters one more time until the leading edge of each filter reaches the holding rib inside the filter case. You should install the third filter through the tab of the second filter before sliding it into the available channels. After folding the second filter tab downwards you should place the third filter tab upwards before reinstalling the filter cover access and the left sound panel.
