How to replace the wiper motor on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

You must first disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector before removing the three wiper motor screws. Press the wiper arms together 153-204 mm (6-8 inches) above the PARK stop and take the motor off the vehicle by pulling it. You can disconnect the transmission drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) to extract the wiper motor out of the vehicle. Install the wiper motor by moving the arms up to a 153-204 mm curved path from the PARK spot before joining the wiper transmission into the motor arm. Fit the wiper motor onto the car with its three screws until they reach 8 N.m of torque (70 lb in). Then attach the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
