Then, remove the primary Timing Chain Tensioner, the primary upper Timing Chain Guide and the primary engine Timing Chain. Proceed further to the right bank by taking out the chain idler from the right bank Timing Chain and then moving to the left bank where we will proceed to take out the tensioner on the left bank Timing Chain, shoe, guide, as well as the left bank Timing Chain before we proceed further with the left bank Timing Chain. Inspect and clean all camshaft timing drive components and replace damaged ones. To install, begin with the left bank Timing Chain, then the left bank Timing Chain idler, left bank Timing Chain Guide, left bank Timing Chain shoe, and left bank Timing Chain Tensioner. Then install the proper bank Timing Chain idler, primary Timing Chain, primary upper Timing Chain Guide, and primary Timing Chain Tensioner.
