How to replace the surge tank inlet coolant pipe on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

Start the surge tank inlet hose/pipe replacement process by removing the fuel injector sight shield then partially drain the engine coolant. First disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank and then remove the PCV fresh air tube. Begin by disconnecting the surge tank inlet hose from both the engine and the removal of its 2 push nuts that keep the pipe connected to the engine. Move the vehicle surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly outside of the vehicle. Place the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly back into position inside the vehicle then clamp it into place with the supplied 2 push nuts. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the engine followed by reinstalling the PCV fresh air tube before you connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank . Following the filling of the cooling system you must reinstall the fuel injector sight shield.
