  A: The replacement process starts by initially removing cooling fans from the system. The heater hose clamp tool (J 37097-A) allows detachment of the outlet Radiator Hose from the Radiator. A mechanic must disconnect both lower transaxle oil and lower engine oil lines from the Radiator while removing and retaining two condenser bolts to prevent damage to the Radiator and condenser attachment points. Raise the condenser slightly until its lower feet escape the mounting features at the Radiator front and remove the Radiator from the vehicle. Initiate the installation by mounting the Radiator insulators onto their frame while adding the Radiator alignment dowels that match the insulator locations. To install the condenser properly place it into position as the lower mounting features should match those of the Radiator. Secure the condenser to end tanks of the Radiator by using only the special length bolts while tightening to 13 nm (115 inch lbs.). The connection of lower engine oil cooler lines to the Radiator should be done with 18 nm (13 ft. Lbs.) torque while the transaxle oil cooler line must be oriented upwards before securing it to the Radiator at 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). The connection of the outlet Radiator Hose to the Radiator is completed by the heater hose clamp tool (J 37097-A) followed by cooling fan reinstallation.
