How to service and repair the Coolant Pipe for the surge tank replacement at the outlet on Cadillac DeVille?

The coolant line repair process starts by draining a portion of engine coolant during surge tank pipe outlet replacement service and maintenance work. Start by using the hose clamp remover/installer (J 37097-A) to detach the surge tank outlet hose from its surge tank position. After that use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to separate the hose from the heater pipe. First remove the two push nuts securing the surge tank outlet hose on the dash panel before pulling the hose from the vehicle. Place the surge tank outlet hose over the dash panel studs before installing its two push nuts to fix it in position. Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to connect the surge tank outlet hose to heater pipe then attach the hose to surge tank using hose clamp remover/installer (J 37097-A). Finally, fill the cooling system.
