  A: Begin the replacement of the Hood Cable by opening the hood and taking out the Hood Latch. You should disconnect the hood release cable from its Hood Latch and create a string tie around it to guide the cable passage through the engine area. Take off the three fasteners which secure the hood release handle to the vehicle before unhooking the hood release cable from the handle. Conclude the replacement task with another simple string tied to the cable for enhanced grip during routing. Pull out the hood release cable grommet from the wheel opening then pull out the cable through the vehicle body.
