Start by unlocking the liftgate then take out the body side rear trim panel to access the tail lamp replacement area. On the right side remove the rear speaker and reach the nuts that hold the tail lamp in place by tipping the auxiliary Blower Motor unit outward. The left side procedure requires removing fasteners and accessing the tail lamp nuts by maneuvering the auxiliary Blower Motor outward. Start by unscrewing the nuts then disconnect the electrical connector before pulling out the tail lamp. Begin by putting the tail lamp assembly into position before connecting the electrical connector. You should tighten the nuts which will anchor the tail lamp to the body structure at 6 n.m (53 lb in). Reinstall the rear speaker on the right side followed by placing the auxiliary Blower Motor on the left side. Put back the body side rear trim panel after you close the liftgate.
