You must begin replacement of Bank 2 ignition coil by taking out the fuel injector sight shield before using a straight motion to lift the ignition coil cover away from the cam cover. First detach the ignition coil wiring harness electrical connector leading to the replacement coil and subsequently unscrew the ignition coil retaining bolt to extract the ignition coil assembly. Start by putting the spark plug seals in position and then install the new ignition coil using a retaining bolt at 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque. The next step involves connecting the ignition coil electrical connector and installing the ignition coil cover on the cam cover and finally reattaching the fuel injector sight shield.
