How to replace the inner axle shaft on the front drive axle on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?

Vehicle service starts with suitable vehicle support when lifted then continues with wheel removal followed by engine under cover detachment. Start by getting rid of the Axle Shaft caulking nut and tossing it out while also taking off the lower Ball Joint nut. Remove the Steering Knuckle from the lower Ball Joint using the tool km-507-c (KM-507-C Ball Joint Remover). After separating the Tie Rod end with km-507-c you can then take off the Tie Rod nut. Remove the drive Axle Shaft from the Wheel Hub by using a drain pan to catch fluids before employing the km-460-b (KM-460-B Axle Shaft Remover) to close the transaxle drive opening. Before installation clean both the transaxle seal and hub seal but avoid any damage then place the drive axle into the transaxle tubing and set the Wheel Hub onto the Axle Shaft. The steerable wheel set up requires the Steering Knuckle's attachment to the lower Ball Joint and the Tie Rod installation between knuckle/strut before securing the Tie Rod nut at 45 nm torque value (33 ft. Lbs.). Install the lower Ball Joint nut followed by a 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) torque setting followed by a loose installation of the new Axle Shaft caulking nut. Mount the wheels then lower the vehicle to floor position while securing wheel nuts at 120 nm (88 ft. Lbs.). Finish by tightening the Axle Shaft caulking nut to 300 nm (221 ft. Lbs.) then use a punch and hammer to peen the nut before replacing engine undercovers and filling the transaxle fluid to the required level.
