2005 Chevrolet Blazer Clutch Slave Cylinder Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Clutch Slave Cylinder on 2005 Chevrolet Blazer?
A: You need to take out the transmission as your first step toward clutch concentric actuator cylinder replacement. Take out the 2 bolts that fix the concentric actuator cylinder to the clutch housing before removing the cylinder from the transmission input shaft. The bearing on the actuator cylinder can be replaced after the cylinder removes from its position. To install the actuator cylinder place it onto the transmission input shaft while the bleed screw and coupling face toward the transmission ports. Secure the concentric actuator cylinder to the clutch housing using two bolts which require 8 nm (71 inch lbs.) torque settings before installing the transmission.
