With the j 37043 tool, the cable conduit end fitting will be released from the lever assembly after you detach the front park brake cable end from the lever reel assembly. Raise the vehicle while supporting it and then free the front cable end from its right cable connector before disconnecting the front cable conduit end fitting from the cable equalizer. You must first release the front cable from across the left axle retention loop then take out the front cable guide lock bolt before releasing the front cable gap from underneath the vehicle body.
