One must begin right rear Parking Brake Cable servicing by lifting and supporting the vehicle before the task. The tang on the connector needs to bend in order to remove the cable. Holding the cable towards the rear of the car produces slack. Separate the cable from both the connector before moving it out of the axle bracket . Begin by taking off the tire-wheel assembly then the Brake Drum following that.
