  A: The first step to replace the Throttle Cable includes depressing the Throttle Cable tangs which are found on the pedal lever assembly until the cable detaches from the assembly. Take off the cruise control cable when it applies to the procedure as well. The Throttle Cable lug should be taken from the Throttle Body assembly before using the control cable tangs to extend the cable through the control cable bracket. The support clip-attached Throttle Cable should be unplugged from its installation spot and then the cable can be removed from the automobile. To install the Throttle Cable users should guide it through the control cable bracket while pushing the cable tabs into position until the bracket tangs expand and fully seat. The Throttle Cable lug should be installed onto the Throttle Body cam before attaching the cable to the support clip.
