The first step to replace a left Engine Mount requires vehicle elevation while providing support followed by wheel and tire removal. Start by detaching and removing the engine shield followed by the lower intermediate Steering Shaft when these components exist. Place a jack stand and wood block under the engine before unbolting the through bolt that secures the Engine Mount-to-frame bracket of the targeted mount. Then loosen the right side through bolt. The procedure demands removal of the heater pipe bracket bolt from the Engine Mount followed by elevation of the engine with the jack stand until it achieves a side-tilting position. Remove the Engine Mount bolts followed by the Engine Mount itself while making the necessary articulations to extract it. Position the replacement Engine Mount before carrying out installation steps by articulating it if necessary and follow up with the motor mount bolt installation beginning with the bolt in position one to assist with assembly. Post alignment of the Engine Mount bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.), reduce the engine position and fasten the Engine Mount-to-frame bracket through bolt until the torque reaches 85 nm (63 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the engine coolant pipe bracket bolt from the Engine Mount followed by removing the jack stand and then installing the lower intermediate Steering Shaft and engine shield and wheel and tire assembly before lowering the vehicle.
