How to replace the right engine mount on 2006 Chevrolet Colorado?

A proper method to replace the right engine mount begins with vehicle lifting and adequate support. Start by removing the wheel along with tire while also taking away any present engine shield. Support the engine with a jack stand along with a block of wood before removing the through bolt connected to the mount which needs replacement from the bracket. Lastly loosen the left side through bolt. The jack stand should elevate the engine so it tilts sideways until all engine mount bolts are removed before taking out the engine mount that needs proper bending for removal. Begin engine mount installation by placing the new mount in position first and proceed with mounting the bolts starting with the first bolt to help with the installation process. Install the engine by first lowering it and then screw in the through bolt of the mount-bracket assembly before tightening both bracket bolts to 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.). Lower the vehicle after you put the wheel and tire assembly back on followed by reinstallation of the engine shield (if present) then remove the jack stand.
