How to replace the left side engine mount on 2007 Chevrolet Colorado?

Starting the replacement of the left side Engine Mount requires wheel and tire elimination before handling any engine shields that might exist. After removing the lower intermediate Steering Shaft position the engine with both a jack stand and wood support block. First drain the through bolt from the mount-to-frame bracket of the replacement mount then untighten the right side through bolt. The Engine Mount operation becomes possible after removing the heater pipe bracket bolt and raising the engine using a jack stand which brings it to a tilted position. Use a wrench on the Engine Mount bolts before extracting both bolts and the mount from its position while possibly requiring movement for removal. The new Engine Mount requires positioning first then needs specific manipulations until you can begin installing Engine Mount bolts starting from the bolt which will be in its final position to simplify the installation. The procedure starts by installing the Engine Mount-to-frame bracket through bolt which requires a torque of 85 n.m (63 lb ft).
