How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2007 Chevrolet Colorado?

Vehicle elevation and transmission support with a transmission jack come first before beginning work on the transmission mount replacement. First remove the 2 nuts holding the transmission mount to its support before raising the transmission off the support. Before removing the bolts raise the transmission until you extract the transmission mount from the vehicle. Install the transmission mount carefully before placing it in position then tighten the bolts to 60 n.m (44 lb ft). Attach transmission support with two nuts then tighten to 57 n.m (42 lb ft). Once complete remove the transmission jack while lowering the vehicle down.
