Insert the en 46547 component into the Flywheel teeth before lowering the vehicle with its service slot plug removed. Before proceeding take out the rocker valve arms and spark plugs. Put the j 44228 base plate in the Spark Plug hole of the target cylinder and position j 39313 into the Spark Plug hole with steady air pressure on the valve to keep it closed. Hang the arm and swivel nut of the j 44228 (J 44228) over the stud that matches the valve you need to service while staying vigilant about the high pressure of compressed valve springs. Twist the swivel nut harshly but not too tight to reach the valve locks before extracting them with a magnet. Rotate the swivel nut to lower the arm while removing both valve spring retainer and spring from the position. The j 38820 tool enables removal of the old Valve Stem Oil Seal through twisting and pulling movements until you can check the valve spring condition. Before valve stem installation apply clean engine oil to the stem and seal inner diameter. Place the j 38820 (J 38820) valve stem protector over the stem then insert the new seal with the tool's twisting motion.
