How to replace the thermostat on 2005 Chevrolet Colorado?

In order to change the thermostat, empty the cooling system and lift the car up to reach it. Take off the left wheelhouse liner and the radiator inlet hose. Take off the thermostat housing bolts, wipe the surfaces and put the housing back. Reblind the hose, refit the liner, lower the car, fill up the cooling system and inspect of leaks.
