How to replace the front parking brake cable on 2005 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin the front park brake cable replacement procedure by taking out the park brake lever followed by raising and supporting the vehicle. Start by removing the rh Muffler and separating rear park brake cables from the equalizer. Following that disconnect the front park brake cable from the cable retainer. Start by removing the front park brake cable bracket from the tunnel then lower the vehicle before extracting the front cable and pass-through grommet together with its front bracket from the cable. Start installation by connecting the front bracket and pass-through grommet to the cable before installing the front park brake cable to the vehicle with correct placement of the pass-through grommet. Rerise the vehicle for support while installing the front park brake cable bracket onto the tunnel and linking its cable end to the park brake cable retainer. Connect the rear park brake cables to the equalizer while reinstalling the rh Muffler followed by lowering the vehicle until installation of the park brake lever completes the process.
