You need to start by taking off the console trim plate followed by removing the bolts next to the instrument panel (IP) and those near and below the transaxle shift control lever and under the mat in the rear bin. Begin console removal by first pulling the console back while the clips detach from the instrument panel. Then disconnect electrical connectors before you can remove the console. Installation requires first placing the front floor console into the vehicle then connecting all electrical connectors. Position the console into place by letting the ip-attached clips snap into position before using a torque wrench to secure bolts near the instrument panel (IP), at the transaxle shift control lever, and under the mat in the rear bin with a torque of 12 n.m (106 lb in). Put the trim plate back onto the front floor console.
