How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Impala?

First disconnect the Mass Air Flow Sensor electrical connector and then take out the fuel injector sight shield before replacing the Mass Air Flow Sensor. The Mass Air Flow Sensor is mountable on the Throttle Body assembly therefore start by unscrewing the Mass Air Flow Sensor screws before extracting the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Place the Mass Air Flow Sensor onto its mounting position and fasten it with Mass Air Flow Sensor screws at 3 n.m (27 lb in) according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Reconnect the Mass Air Flow Sensor electrical connector after you install both items. Lastly, replace the fuel injector sight shield.
