  A: To replace the inflatable restraint front end sensor, first we have to disable the sir system. Then, unplug the air cleaner intake duct and the connector position assurance (CPA) from the electrical connector from the sensors at the front end. Unplug the front end sensor electrical connector and remove the 2 integral bolts (W715202-S300), which hold the front end sensor to the frame front crossmember, removing the front end sensor from the vehicle. For installation, align the new front end sensor into its position and secure it in with the 2 integral bolts, which need to be tightened to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Plug-in the sensor electrical connector to the front end sensor and put back the cpa onto the sensor electrical connector. Last, reattach the air cleaner intake duct and have the sir system.
